According to niuball.com Beasley injured his wrist also suffered an asthma attack along with Paul Pierce due to the large amount of cigarette smoking.
While playing in Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang province… Pierce and Beasley both suffered asthma attacks due to large amounts of fans smoking cigarettes inside the stadium. After the game, things got even more shocking when Beasley fell to the floor in his hotel and started to roll around in obvious pain, scaring everyone around half-to-death. At that point, there was no choice but to dial 120 (the number for an ambulance in China) and take him to the hospital.

It seems Paul Pierce is upset about the article written about him supposedly having an asthma attack in China,Pierce took to his Facebook page to clear the rumor.
Please excuse Kelly Dwyer for writing that awful “ball don’t lie” article on Yahoo! today…. he or she need better facts b4 putting story out….Me and Michael Beasley had a great trip to China…… and since when did I ever have asthma??
